SELF DISCOVERY

What To Expect

Embark on a transformative journey with Connemara Canvas & Renvyle House Resort, where boundaries are pushed, creativity is awakened, and you leave with a tangible masterpiece that reflects your inner world.

What a dream! I imagine arriving at a cosy, historic country house hotel situated in the wild splendour of Connemara on the shores of the Wild Atlantic Way. The lush green landscape and the sound of the Atlantic Ocean in the distance surround me. As I step inside, I'm greeted by the warm scent of freshly brewed coffee and the soft hum of creative energy.

Letitia Hill, resident artist, welcomes me to our painting retreat with her infectious enthusiasm and warm smile. We gather around a beautifully set table laden with abundant art supplies, delicious treats, and refreshing beverages. The atmosphere is relaxed and inspiring, with natural light pouring in through the large windows.

Letitia shares her expertise as we begin our painting journey, demystifying the painting process and breaking it down into manageable steps. She encourages us to let go of our fears and inhibitions and trust our inner artists. With each brush stroke, I feel my creative muscles flexing and my imagination unfolding like a lotus flower.

As we paint, the sounds of nature outside blend with the gentle chatter of our group, creating a symphony of inspiration. We take breaks to savour local cuisine and drinks, exploring Connemara's charming towns and villages. The evenings are filled with music, storytelling, and laughter around a crackling fire.

As the retreat comes to a close, I feel invigorated and empowered, with a newfound confidence in my creative abilities. The beauty of Connemara and the camaraderie of our little community have nourished my soul. I leave with stunning paintings, memories to cherish, and hope for my artistic future.
